Reglar Wiglar Zine Set
The Reglar Wiglar zine set returns after a nearly-decade-long hiatus from print. Chris Auman begins his musings on every job he’s ever had. In RW #22 you’ll find Part 1 of “The Book of Jobs.” This includes recollections of his days earning a weekly allowance, clerking at a drug store, and slinging hot dogs at the family concession stand. This issue also includes the first appearance of “Forgotten American Music Masters,” and a contribution from a pre-POTUS Donald Trump who offers his views on Metallica’s seminal 1983 album Kill ‘Em All. Plus comics! This edition is a 2023 reprint of the 2014 edition.
The second installment of Auman’s Jobs Trilogy appears in RW #23. This includes time spent as a dishwasher, telemarketer, and law clerk, as well as a brief stint serving a First Cook aboard a historic Mississippi riverboat. Also, more Forgotten American Music Masters, Donald Trump reviews Justin Bieber, comics, and more.
This 23rd of the Reglar Wiglar zine includes the third and final installment of the Jobs Trilogy. How will it end? Will it end? This issue covers Chris’s time as a line cook in a vegetarian restaurant, box office worker, restaurant manager, art installer, and more. Also, more Forgotten American Music Masters.
