Sssnakes Mini-Comics

A bunch of Sssnakes mini-comics

Slithering right along…

Sssnakes mini-comics have a looong history, but here is a quick synopsis. This is a comic strip I’ve returned to repeatedly over the past decades. Previous strips have been published in Roctober and Reglar Wiglar. I’ve drawn and redrawn various versions many times.

At one point, Sly and Steven (the stars of Sssnakes!) lay dormant for many years, but their most recent incarnation is a series of 5.5 x 3-inch mini-comics. I’m currently working on issue 5 which I hope to have completed in the fall of 2024.

For now, four issues of these minis are available. Each issue features a different color cardstock. I print them on an inkjet printer, fold them, and staple them. Order a Snakes! Case and get all four issues in a handpainted box.

Your pals, Sly and Steven, are back in the second issue of this bright orange, but still slithery, minicomic. This time these nerdy reptiles star in such adventures as “Just Say No,” “The Evolutions of Sly and Steven,” “Cactus Juice,” “Snakes on a Plane”, and “Tired, Tired, Tired.”
